At 0350am I woke to the sound of torrential rain and wanted nothing more than to roll over and go back to sleep, but it was race day, so up was. Before I knew it I was rolling through the familiar motions of a race morning. Having only raced one other olympic distance event, I am still working out my pre race routine, as I certainly do not need to eat the amounts I would before an Ironman or an Ultraman.
